Having watched the announced Category Winners pitch, the Jury will ask questions about various aspect of the teams’ business ideas. Upon receiving information from the short Q&A, the VIP Jury will decide on the final Over All Winner of the University Startup World Cup. And it all happens live on stage at the Awardshow!
Jonathan LøwEntrepreneur and speaker
Born in 1978 in Denmark’s second largest city, Aarhus, Jonathan Løw has previously been nominated as Entrepreneur of the Year
and named “a leader celebrating human rights” by the Financial Times. Løw is a serial entrepreneur and former Head of Marketing at KaosPilots. He also has a background as investor and investment manager in the accelerator and investment company Accelerace. He is co-founder of the startup Sprout – the world’s first pencil that you can plant and turn into fresh herbs and vegetables.

Mr. Huser established his own California-based legal practice in 2009 after working at Baker & McKenzie. In his current practice, he predominantly represents entrepreneurs, privately held companies and family offices. In the past year he has represented solo startup entrepreneurs, small companies, a private equity fund with $8 billion in assets under management and a venture-funded entrepreneur who closed nearly a $20 million Series A. Mr. Huser works akin to “in house” counsel for clients or as California counsel for larger companies. He addresses his client’s general transactional and soft IP needs and represents them in minor dispute resolution matters.

Previously in his career he worked in a variety of senior leadership roles for companies such as American Express and 1-800-GOT-JUNK?
He is the current Global Chair for the GSEA (Global Student Entrepreneur Awards), hosted by Entrepreneurs Organization (EO).
Jakob Mikkel HansenPartner
Jakob Mikkel Hansen is co-founder and managing partner at HippoCorn in Copenhagen. Prior to establishing HippoCorn he founded a handful of other startups such as Capital Aid which aided e-commerce businesses grow. HippoCorn is the first VC and Investment bank hybrid existing in Europe with its primary goal to ensure access to capital for startups globally. Jakob is obsessed growth hacking startups and move them from A to B.
